Chicago White Sox Sign Left-Handed Pitcher


Reuniting with the Chicago White Sox.

The White Sox have signed pitcher Garrett Davila to a minor league contract.

Davila spent the entire 2022 season at Double-A Birmingham where he posted a 4.97 ERA, 1.58 WHIP, and 88 strikeouts over 88.2 innings of work. He made 18 relief appearances, started 11 games and held a 6-5 record.

The former Kansas City Royals prospect signed on with the White Sox last winter and will get another look with the organization.

The twenty-six-year-old is still looking to make his major league debut. He holds a career 4.28 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 373 strikeouts across 452 innings in the minor leagues.
