Philadelphia Phillies Sign All-Star Pitcher

The Philadelphia Phillies have made another big move, as they have inked Taijuan Walker to a four-year, $72 million deal.

Walker is coming off of an excellent season with the New York Mets, as he had a 12-5 record to go along with a 3.49 ERA. Now, he is taking his talents to an NL East rival with the Phillies and will be aiming to put together another very good season from here.

Walker is an All-Star caliber pitcher who will provide the Phillies with a bit more strength in their rotation. Although giving a pitcher four years is always risky, it will be intriguing to see how well Walker maintains his form as the deal ages.
