Mariners Utility Specialist To Undergo Core Muscle Surgery

Seattle Mariners president of baseball operations Jerry Dipoto said that Dylan Moore will undergo core muscle surgery.

Moore dealt with a core muscle injury near the end of last season and will now undergo a procedure in the coming days. The typical recovery timeline for this type of procedure is around six-to-eight weeks.

With the Mariners having J.P. Crawford and Kolten Wong, Moore is anticipated to play almost solely against left-handed pitching.

The thirty-year-old slashed .224/.368/.753, with six home runs, 24 RBIs, 21 stolen bases and 41 runs scored across 205 at-bats this past season. Moore is expected to be fully healthy and ready to go for spring training.
