Los Angeles Angels Re-Sign Pitcher

The Los Angeles Angels have re-signed Cesar Valdez to a minor league contract.

Valdez appeared in one game for the Halos this past season, where he allowed one earned run in an inning pitched. Overall, it was a fairly uneventful season in the majors for him, but he will be hoping for more chances with the Angels in 2023 from here.

Valdez will provide the Angels with another depth option that has MLB experience. In 69 career MLB games, the 6-foot-2 righty has put together a 5-6 record to go along with a 6.11 ERA. Let's see if he has the chance to improve upon these career stats with the Angels next season.
