Houston Astros Bring Back All-Star Outfielder

The Houston Astros have signed Michael Brantley to a one-year, $12 million contract.

There were rumblings that the Astros were open to bringing back Brantley, and now they have done just that. He will now be aiming to build off of his strong tenure as an Astro from here.

In five seasons with Houston, Brantley has appeared in three All-Star Games. This past season was a bit rough for him, however, as he was limited to only 64 games due to injury. Yet, he was still effective while healthy, as he had five home runs, 26 RBIs, and a .288 batting average. Let's see if he can stay healthy in 2023 and put up a big year in the process from here.
