Tigers Outfielder Elects Free Agency

Another interesting name joining free agency.

Outfielder Victor Reyes rejected an outright assignment by the Detroit Tigers and has elected free agency.
This past season, Reyes slashed .254/.289/.362, with three home runs, 34 RBIs, two stolen bases and 27 runs scored over 92 games with the Tigers. The team opted not to keep him on the 40-man roster through the offseason, ending his five-year stretch with the organization.

Acquired by the Tigers in the Rule 5 Draft, the twenty-eight-year-old holds a .264/.294/.379 slash line, with 16 home runs, 107 RBIs, 33 stolen bases and 147 runs scored over 394 games played in the majors.
