Offseason Injury Updates On Two Key Tigers Players

The Detroit Tigers had yet another brutal season.

The Tigers look to have better injury luck next season, as they dealt with injuries to some key players in 2022.

Spencer Turnbull wound up missing the entire 2022 season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, but he's now fully healthy and going through his regular offseason routine. He's expected to be ready to go when pitchers and catchers report to spring training in February.
Austin Meadows' first season with the Tigers was a complete disaster as injuries and illness limited him to just 36 games.

However, team president Scott Harris told reporters that Meadows is now symptom-free and participating in his regular offseason program.

It sounds like Meadows should be ready to go for the start of spring training, after slashing .250/.347/.328 with zero home runs and 11 RBIs this past season.

He's a prime bounce-back candidate if he can stay healthy.
