Minnesota Twins to Decline Options for 2 Pitchers

According to Aaron Gleeman, the Minnesota Twins will be declining their team options for Dylan Bundy and Chris Archer.

Bundy's club option is at $11 million, so it is easy to see why Minnesota is letting him walk. The 29-year-old struggled in 2022, as he had an 8-8 record to go along with a 4.89 ERA. He should be able to find a new team through free agency but for a much lower price due to his struggles this season.

Archer, on the other hand, had a $10 million option. Given the fact that he had a 2-8 record and a 4.56 ERA this season, it makes sense that they are not keeping him around. Like Bundy, he should get signed to a cheap deal elsewhere.
