Los Angeles Dodgers Bring Back Pitcher

The Los Angeles Dodgers are bringing back a familiar face, as they have claimed Jake Reed off of waivers from the Boston Red Sox.

This waiver claim marks Reed's third tenure as a Dodger, and he will be hoping that this time it allows him to stick around long-term. The 30-year-old spent this past season split between the New York Mets, Dodgers, and Baltimore Orioles, where he had a 2-0 record and 7.02 ERA. He never appeared in a game for the Red Sox, and now his time in Boston is officially over.

Overall, there's no harm in bringing in Reed for some added pitching depth at the end of the day. Let's see if he can earn himself a spot in the majors in 2023.
