Los Angeles Angels Designate 3 Pitchers for Assignment

The Los Angeles Angels have designated Touki Toussaint, Rob Zastryzny, and Nash Walters for assignment.

Toussaint appeared in eight games for the Angels this past season, where he sported a 1-1 record to go along with a 4.62 ERA. Overall, it's fair to say that he had mixed results when called upon at the major league level, but we will have to wait and see if the 57-game veteran gets picked up off waivers from here.

Zastryzny appeared in six games this past season split between the New York Mets and Angels. During them, he put together a 0-0 record to go along with a 6.75 ERA. The 6-foot-3 righty could be a decent option for a team looking to boost their pitching depth.

Walters appeared in his first MLB game this past season. During his lone appearance, he pitched 0.1 scoreless innings. Now, he is hitting the waiver wire, and we will have to wait and see if the 26-year-old finds a new home from here.
