Atlanta Braves Designate Infielder for Assignment

The Atlanta Braves have designated Rylan Bannon for assignment. This move is in response to the team signing Nick Anderson.

Bannon appeared in five games in the majors this season, split between the Baltimore Orioles and Braves. During those appearances, he went two-for-14, which equates to a .143 batting average. Overall, the sample size was small, but it's apparent that he did struggle at the plate when utilized.

Bannon will now be hitting the waiver wire, where the rest of the league can claim him if they wish to. He could be a decent depth option elsewhere, as he can play third base and second base. Alas, we will need to wait and see if another team decides to claim him from here.
