Phillies Make a Couple of Roster Moves

The Philadelphia Phillies have recalled pitcher Michael Plassmeyer from Triple-A Lehigh Valley. 

In a corresponding move, the Phillies have optioned Chris Devenski to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Plassmeyer will help eat some innings in Wednesday's season-finale against the Houston Astros. 

The twenty-five-year-old has posted a 4.21 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 129 strikeouts over 128 innings in the minors this season. He's made 26 starts and holds a 6-9 record. He's only pitched 1.1 innings in the majors this season. 

Chris Devenski has been optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. 

Devenski has registered an ugly 8.59 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, and 12 strikeouts over 14.2 innings in the majors this season.
