MLB Rumors: Tampa Bay Rays OF Emerging as Trade Candidate

According to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, the Tampa Bay Rays will at least be open to the possibility of trading Rady Arozarena this offseason.

Arozarena is under team control until after the 2026 season, so they do not need to rush a potential trade. However, at the same time, his trade value is at its highest, so the Rays could take advantage of that and land the best return possible as a result. Keep in mind, Tampa Bay has never shied away from trading key players due to them being a small-market club.

Arozarena had another strong season with the Rays this season that saw him hit 20 home runs and .263. With that, he had 89 RBIs and 32 stolen bases. Overall, he does a little bit of everything, so if he's officially made available, expect numerous teams to pursue him.
