Astros Set Game 2 Starter

The Houston Astros got a big Game 1 win over the New York Yankees on Wednesday night in Houston.

Dusty Baker and the Astros will turn to Framber Valdez to start Game 2 of the ALCS on Thursday against the Yankees.
He follows Justin Verlander in Game 1 on Wednesday. Valdez worked Game 2 of the ALDS last week versus the Seattle Mariners, allowing two runs with six strikeouts over 5.2 innings in the Astros' 4-2 win.

The twenty-eight-year-old had a fantastic season, registering a stellar 2.82 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and 194 strikeouts across 201.1 innings and 31 starts during the regular season.

Valdez will line up against Luis Severino on Thursday night.
