Toronto Blue Jays Send Pitcher To Triple-A

After being demoted and called right back up to the Toronto Blue Jays, Foster Griffin is once again heading to Triple-A Buffalo.

It's been a pretty wild week for Griffin, and this latest demotion only adds to it. Griffin has only made one appearance as a Blue Jay since joining them, where he pitched two scoreless innings. He started the year with the Kansas City Royals and had a disastrous 12.46 ERA in five appearances.

Griffin can take solace in knowing that he remains on the Blue Jays' 40-man roster, though. This means that the team can call him up with ease before the end of the season. It will be intriguing to see if he can earn himself another call-up from here.
