Rangers Recall Utility Player

He's getting another chance in the majors.

The Texas Rangers have recalled utility player Nick Solak from Triple-A Round Rock.
Solak has been pretty brutal in the majors this season, slashing just .208/.299/.338, with three home runs, four RBIs and three stolen bases over 33 games.

Once a former top prospect who showed plenty of potential, the twenty-seven-year-old has just not been able to translate that success to the highest level.

Solak has had a decent year in the minors, hitting for a .279 batting average and a solid .371 on-base percentage. He's slugged 10 home runs, 45 RBIs and six stolen bases across 223 at-bats.

The Rangers will give Nick Solak a chance to finish the season in the majors and, hopefully, prove himself worthy of a roster spot in the 2023 season.
