Mets Activate Pitcher from Injured List

The New York Mets are getting a reliable bullpen arm back.

The team has activated pitcher Drew Smith from the 15-day injured list.

Smith joins the Mets' bullpen in the middle of the team's series against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The twenty-eight-year-old has posted a solid 3.51 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and 47 strikeouts over 41 innings. He has a 2-3 record over 37 relief appearances.
