Cleveland Guardians Call Up Pitcher

The Cleveland Guardians have called up Hunter Gaddis to their major league roster.

With this call-up, Gaddis immediately started for the Guardians on Thursday and things did not, unfortunately, go well for him. He allowed five home runs against the Chicago White Sox and will be hoping to have another chance to redeem himself from here.

He has split this season between Double-A and Triple-A, where he has a 7-5 record and 4.15 ERA in 22 total appearances. Overall, he has some decent moments this campaign, and he will be aiming to prove to the Guardians that he is ready to be a full-time MLB pitcher. Let's see if he gets another opportunity after a rough start.
