Cincinnati Reds Release Pitcher

The Cincinnati Reds have released T.J. Zeuch. As a result, the 27-year-old will be hitting the open market as a free agent.

Zeuch is unlikely to find a new home this season, however, as he currently is out with a back injury. With the regular season ending in a little over two weeks, it just doesn't make too much sense for him to ink a deal right now. Thus, expect to see him aim to find a new home in 2023. 

Zeuch's 2022 season was not very impressive in the majors, as he had a 0-3 record and 15.19 ERA in three starts. This likely played a role in the Reds deciding to release him. Yet, next season will offer him a clean slate, so let's see if he can rebound from here.
