Chicago White Sox Infielder Placed on Injured List

The Chicago White Sox have placed Luis Robert on the 10-day injured list with a sprained left wrist.

Given how late it is in the season and the severity of his injury, this all but concludes Robert's 2022 campaign. In 98 games this season for Chicago, he had 12 home runs, 56 RBIs, and a .284 batting average. Overall, it was another solid year for the Gold Glove Award winner, but it has, unfortunately, come to an early end.

With the White Sox out of the playoff race, Robert sitting out the rest of the year isn't the biggest deal. However, it is a shame that his year had to end early, as he was having himself another good campaign. Let's see if he can continue that in 2023.
