Chicago Cubs Activate Infielder

Although the Chicago Cubs recently placed Nick Madrigal on the injured list, they are getting a boost elsewhere, as Patrick Wisdom has been activated from the IL.

Wisdom has been a rare bright spot for the Cubs this season, as he has a very solid 22 home runs and 58 RBIs in 117 games. However, he also has had some trouble hitting for contact, as his .217 batting average displays. Yet, having his power back in the lineup will benefit the Cubs, as he has the potential to provide them with solid offense.

Wisdom will be aiming to end the year on a high note. Perhaps if he heats up, we could see him flirt with the 30-home run plateau before the season is over.
