Boston Red Sox Outright Outfielder

Jaylin Davis will be staying with the Boston Red Sox, as he has cleared waivers and has since been outrighted to Triple-A Worcester.

Davis will now remain as a depth player for the Red Sox and will aim to impress in Worcester from here. If he does, it could be what gets him another chance on Boston's 40-man roster, which in turn, would lead to a call-up.

Davis was actually effective with the Red Sox when called upon this season. In 12 games with the team, he has a strong .333 batting average and two RBIs. Unfortunately, the team's depth and the addition of Yu Chang made him expendable, but here's to hoping he can get another chance in the majors soon - whether that's with the Red Sox or elsewhere.
