Baltimore Orioles Infielder Placed On Restricted List

Jonathan Arauz is set to miss some time for the Baltimore Orioles, as he has been placed on the restricted list by the club.

Arauz recently joined the team after starting the season with the Boston Red Sox. In nine games as an Oriole thus far, he has one home run, four RBIs, and a .179 batting average. Overall, he hasn't made the best of impact, but it still isn't ideal for the Orioles to have one of their depth players out as they push for a playoff spot. This is especially true when noting that he is capable of playing second base, shortstop, and third base.

Once Arauz is ready to go again, he will aim to finish the year on a strong note. Although he has made appearances at the major league level over the last three seasons, he has not been able to stick around permanently - as his 68 career games show. Nevertheless, let's see how he does once he's healthy.
