Yankees Manager Explodes At Postgame Media Conference

As the New York Yankees continue their woeful slide—they're 4-14 in August—their manager, Aaron Boone is starting to lose it. He exploded with frustration during his postgame news conference on Saturday, after a 5-2 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.

"It's right in front of us!" Boone screamed as he slammed the podium table. "We can fix it! It's right here! It's there... We can run away with this thing. We got the dudes in there to do it... (But) if you don't score, it's tough to win."

His star pitcher Gerrit Cole, who took the loss in this one, was also showing the frustration, as he was seen punching the dugout ceiling.

The Yankees have now lost six consecutive series for the first time since 1995. Their slump has seen the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves all pass them for best record in baseball.

The Blue Jays have won four straight now, three in Yankee Stadium, and have sliced New York's division lead to 7 games. They had trailed them by 16.5 games on July 10th.
