Toronto Blue Jays Pitcher Dislocates Shoulder

The Toronto Blue Jays will be without Tim Mayza for a while, as the reliever has dislocated his right shoulder.

Although Mayza throws left-handed, the severity of this injury could still make him miss the rest of the season. That certainly would not be ideal for the Blue Jays because Mayza has emerged as one of their most reliable relievers this season. His 5-0 record and 2.88 ERA show that perfectly.

Here's to hoping that Mayza can have a speedy recovery and be good to go for the Blue Jays before the year is out.
