Tampa Bay Rays Pitcher Becomes Free Agent

The Tampa Bay Rays will no longer have Chase Anderson as a part of their pitching depth. He has opted out of his minor league deal and is a free agent again.

Anderson was aiming to get a call-up from the Rays, but it became clear that it wasn't going to come to fruition. As a result of this, the veteran has decided to try to find a new home elsewhere.

Anderson has a good amount of MLB experience, so that could create interest in him around the league. In 190 career games over eight seasons, he has a 56-46 record to go along with a 4.20 ERA>
