Seattle Mariners Outfielder Clears Waivers
Jack Larsen will be remaining with the Seattle Mariners, as he has cleared waivers. He now has been sent down to Double-A Arkansas.
Larsen made his MLB debut with the Mariners this season, where he failed to get a hit in his lone at-bat. He primarily has played in Double-A this campaign, however. In 80 games with Arkansas on the year, he has six home runs, 37 RBIs, and a .260 batting average.
Larsen will continue to be a depth piece for the Mariners for when injuries arise. If he impresses in Double-A, perhaps we will see him get placed on Seattle's 40-man roster again.
