Revealed: Yankees Star Slugger Has Return Date Set

The New York Yankees' offense has been one of the worst in all of major league baseball since the All-Star break, so the news of the planned return of slugger Giancarlo Stanton this Thursday is huge.

Stanton said his rehab games have gone off without pain thus far, so he should be on target for the start of their West Coast road trip in Oakland on Thursday.

One note of caution is that he still feels some lingering pain in the Achilles, often in the mornings,  and would prefer it if he can avoid playing the outfield, at least at the start.

He's also confident that the Yankees are going to be back to being the Bronx Bombers in no time. “We're gonna turn it around, we'll be fine. There’s plenty of time to change whatever narrative is going on right now. We’ll be fine.”
