Pittsburgh Pirates Claim Infielder Off Waivers

The Pittsburgh Pirates have a new player in town, as they have claimed Kevin Padlo off waivers from the Seattle Mariners.

A busy year for Padlo is only getting busier with this move. He is set to join his third club of 2022, as he had brief stints with the San Francisco Giants and of course Mariners this year. In 10 games on the campaign, he has a .182 batting average.

Padlo will be hoping for the opportunity to play more games at the major league level with the Pirates from here. It will be intriguing to see how often they utilize him.
