MLB Rumors: Boston Red Sox Outfielder To Be Traded

With it now being reported that the Red Sox are listening to offers for players like J.D. Martinez and Nathan Eovaldi, it's clear that they will be sellers at the deadline. One other name who is starting to get more attention around the league is Enrique Hernandez.

After a solid 20-home run season with the Red Sox last season, Hernandez has cooled off in 2022. In 51 games, he has just four home runs to go along with a very low .209 batting average. This is far below expectations for the veteran, but even with this being so, there should still be interest in his services.

Hernanedez showed last postseason that he can be very clutch, and playoff teams love to have players like that. Furthermore, his versatility makes him a solid utility player to have around.
