Los Angeles Dodgers Place Infielder On Injured List

Justin Turner will be out for the Los Angeles Dodgers for the next little bit at least, as the veteran third baseman has been placed on the 10-day injured list with an abdominal strain.

Although the Dodgers hold a commanding lead in the NL West standings, it is disappointing to see that Turner has to miss time. He has been hitting well as of late and looking more like his former All-Star self. Yet, that hot streak will now have to be put on pause due to this injury.

Here's to hoping that Turner can return to the field as soon as this stint on the 10-day IL is over. Time will tell what happens on that front.
