Houston Astros Outfielder Gets Season-Ending Surgery

Michael Brantley's 2022 season is officially over, as the veteran has elected to get season-ending surgery for his shoulder injury.

This was starting to seem more likely than not, as it was recently reported that Brantley was seeking a second opinion regarding his injury. Yet, it appears that all sides have agreed that surgery is the best course of action for the veteran.

This is a tough blow for the Astros. They have World Series aspirations and will now be without one of their All-Stars during the postseason. Here's to hoping Brantley has a smooth recovery and is good to go at the start of the 2023 season.
