Dodgers Pitcher to Rejoin Team This Weekend

He has been sidelined since mid-July due to inflammation in his right shoulder.

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that pitcher Brusdar Graterol is on track to rejoin the team's bullpen over the weekend.

Graterol just needs to finish the last of his rehab assignment requirements, which is working back-to-back nights on Wednesday and Thursday at Triple-A Oklahoma City. He worked a scoreless inning on Wednesday, which saw his sinker sitting at 99-100 MPH, a very good sign.

The twenty-three-year-old's return will provide a big boost to the Dodgers' bullpen. He was a very reliable option in the late innings for the Dodgers, prior to his injury.

Graterol has pitched to a strong 3.35 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 35 strikeouts over 40 innings. The 37 appearances and 40 innings are both career highs for Graterol.
