Chicago Cubs Pitcher Still Aiming To Return

Although the Chicago Cubs are completely out of the playoff hunt, Wade Miley told reporters that he still wants to return this season and "can't shut it down." He also noted that this is because he has to prove to the league that he is "not broke."

Miley was very strong this season, but he also only appeared in four games. During them, he put together a 1-0 record to go along with a 2.84 ERA. It seemed that he was on his way to having a good year with Chicago, but his injury trouble restricted that. Still, Miley wants to get back out there and leave a good last impression before the year is out.
