Braves DFA Infielder

The Atlanta Braves have designated infielder Ryan Goins for assignment.
Goins was called up from Triple-A Gwinnett last week to give the Braves some extra depth off the bench but, ultimately, did not end up getting into a game.

The thirty-four-year-old will most likely clear waivers and head back down to the minors, providing the Braves will some more depth in their organization.

Over his eight-year career, Goins has played with the Toronto Blue Jays, Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox, slashing .228/.278/.333, with 22 home runs, 158 RBIs and six stolen bases over 555 games.
