Braves Claim Third Baseman

It's his second team in the past week.

The Atlanta Braves have claimed third baseman Rylan Bannon off of waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers claimed Bannon off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles last week, but swiftly designated him for assignment four days later.

The Braves have optioned him to Triple-A Gwinnett.

The twenty-six-year-old has only appeared in four major league games in his career, all this season and all for the Orioles, recording two hits across 14 at-bats.

Bannon has hit an underwhelming .229/.347/.754, with 11 home runs, 58 RBIs, six stolen bases and 45 runs scored across 275 at-bats this season.

He was an eighth-round draft pick of the Dodgers in the 2017 MLB Draft.
