Atlanta Braves Send 2 Players Down To Triple-A

The Atlanta Braves have sent down Ian Anderson and Guillermo Heredia to Triple-A.

Anderson being sent down is certainly notable, as he has been a starter in their rotation over the last three seasons. After recording a 3.58 ERA in 24 starts last season, he had struggled mightily this year. In 21 appearances, he sports a 9-6 record but very high 5.11 ERA. The Braves will be hoping this demotion can help him find his old form.

Heredia has been utilized as a backup outfielder this season for the Braves. In 47 games, he has three home runs, six RBIs, and a .138 batting average.
