Alberts Pujols Not Changing Mind On Playing Future

With how amazingly Albert Pujols has been playing as of late, fans were wondering if the future Hall of Famer has changed his mind about retiring after the season. Unfortunately, he has not changed his mind on that front, as he confirmed to Bob Nightengale that he still plans to retire.

Pujols currently sits at 692 career home runs as we inch closer to the end of the regular season. As a result of this, he's a player to watch for the remainder of the year, as he is so close to joining the 700-club.

Pujols has had a solid year all around, so he certainly is still good enough to keep playing. In 71 games, he has 13 runs, 37 RBIs, and a .273 batting average. Yet, although the skill is still there, Pujols is ready to retire and won't be changing his mind any time soon.
