Nationals Sign Veteran Outfielder

The Washington Nationals have signed outfielder David Dahl to a minor-league contract.

Dahl was released by the Rangers last year and then by the Brewers in July. The twenty-eight year old has had some solid seasons in the past with the Rockies but has always struggled to remain healthy.

In his five year career, Dahl has batted .272/.319/.463, with 42 home runs, 160 RBIs, and 17 stolen bases over 327 games.

Dahl has potential to be a very good ball player if he can stay healthy, and it will be interesting to see if that can happen.
