MLB Rumors: Texas Rangers Shopping Outfielder

After an offseason of spending, the Rangers still are not a playoff team and will be sellers at the deadline because of it. As a result of this, one player who we could see moved this week is Kole Calhoun.

Calhoun's first season as a Ranger has been a little underwhelming thus far. In 91 games, he has 11 home runs, 43 RBIs, and a low .219 batting average. Yet, there still could be a market for him, as he has a good amount of experience and can be an effective power hitter when on his game.

Teams looking for a bit more outfield depth should give the Rangers a call about Calhoun. In 1,162 career games, Calhoun has 172 home runs, 551 RBIs, and a .245 batting average.
