MLB Rumors: San Francisco Giants To Trade First Baseman

It's time for the Giants to be sellers, and they have plenty of potential rental candidates because of this. One player who is starting to get some attention because of this is veteran Brandon Belt.

Belt could be a solid addition for a team looking to add a bit more experience to their lineup. The 1,294-game veteran has two World Series rings on his resume and is a one-time All-Star. Furthermore, he would work well if a team is in need of some help at first base.

Belt has had a bit of a quiet 2022 season, though. In 62 games, he has eight home runs, 21 RBIs, and a .235 batting average. However, he also just had 29 home runs in only 97 games last season, so he has the potential to provide a lot of pop when at his best. Let's see if that is enough for him to find a new home shortly.
