MLB Rumors: Pirates To Trade First Baseman

The Pirates are once again set to be sellers at the deadline. One player who is starting to get attention around the league because of this is Daniel Vogelbach.

Teams looking for a bit more pop in their depth should consider pursuing Vogelbach. The one-time All-Star has quietly had a solid year when it comes to power, as he has 12 home runs in 75 games. However, hitting for contact has still been an issue for the veteran, as he sports a .228 batting average.

Contenders could view Vogelbach as a solid backup or DH option for the playoffs. It will be intriguing to see where he ends up by August.
