MLB Rumors: Detroit Tigers Shopping Pitcher

The Tigers have been horrible in 2022, and they are once again destined to be sellers at the deadline because of this. According to Cody Stavenhagen, they are even willing to listen to offers for pitcher Tarik Skubal.

Skubal is currently having a breakout season with the Tigers and is still under team control for multiple years. Yet, with his trade value being at its highest, it appears that Detroit is at least considering moving him if they receive a massive offer in the process.

Playoff teams should view Skubal as an appealing target when looking at his 2022 season. In 19 starts thus far, he sports a 7-8 record and 3.88 ERA. He has the potential to improve as he continues to get experience, too, so let's see if Detroit gets an offer they cannot refuse from here.
