MLB Rumors: Baltimore Orioles Shopping All-Star Reliever

Jorge Lopez is having a career season for the Orioles. At this juncture, he has recorded 17 saves and sports a very solid 1.62 ERA. Due to this great start to the year, he was named to his first All-Star Game. Yet, with the Orioles still rebuilding, there are rumblings that they could move Lopez while his trade value is at its highest.

With playoff teams always looking to strengthen their bullpens, there should be a lot of interest in Lopez's services. This would benefit the Orioles immensely, as it could land them a big return for their All-Star reliever.

It will be intriguing to see if Lopez gets moved before the deadline. Although he is still under team control for a few more years, the Orioles are in a position to land a major return if they elect to move him.
