Blue Jays Fire Manager

The Blue Jays have fired manager Charlie Montoyo, according to Ken Rosenthal.
Toronto has had a very disappointing season thus far, going 46-42 and sitting in fourth place in the AL East.

In his four seasons with the Blue Jays, his only seasons as a manager in the MLB, Montoyo finishes with 236-236 record. This will simply not cut it for a team expected to be at the top of the league this season.

Time is running out for the Blue Jays to turn it around this season, and the team feels a new face behind the helm will help with that.

No replacement has been named for Montoyo yet.
