White Sox Starter Leaves Game With Injury

Chicago White Sox starter Michael Kopech left Sunday's game after throwing just 13 pitches. The 26-year-old left due to knee discomfort.

Following the game, Kopech told reporters that his MRI showed no structural damage in his knee, so that is certainly a promising update. However, there still hasn't been an official timeline announced for how long Kopech will miss time.

The White Sox will be hoping that Kopech's injury is minor, as he has been excellent this season. Although he has a 2-2 record, he also sports a very impressive 1.92 ERA. With Chicago trying to catch up in the AL Central, losing Kopech long-term would be a massive blow.
