Dodgers Pitcher Hits the Injured List

Los Angeles Dodgers left-handed pitcher Caleb Ferguson hits the 15-day injured list today. Ferguson's injury has been reported as forearm tendinitis.
The pitcher stated that he has been experiencing soreness since the Dodgers' series with the San Francisco Giants. Ferguson pitched one inning against the Giants on June 11.
Ferguson does not believe the injury will be long-term.

The 25-year old has appeared in six games this season. Over five innings, the relief has thrown five strikeouts and hasn't allowed a hit.

Meanwhile, the Dodgers have also moved starter Walker Buehler from the 10-day IL to the 60-day IL.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have an impressive 40-25 record on the season. With a .615 win percentage, they are currently first in the NL West.
