Yankees Pitcher Likely Heading To Injured List

After leaving Thursday night's get with a forearm injury, New York Yankees reliever Chad Green is expected to be placed on the injured list.

Green is set to have an MRI on Friday to see the severity of his injury. Even if it turns out to be something minor, a 10-day stint on the IL is likely to occur just to be safe.

Green has spent the entirety of his seven-year career with the Yankees and has been noted for his overall reliability throughout it. The 2022 season has proven that to be the case, too, as he has a 1-1 record and 3.00 ERA in 14 appearances. Over the course of his 272-game career, he has a 33-22 record and 3.17 ERA.
