Yankees Outfielder Placed On Injured List

The Yankees have placed Tim Locastro on the injured list due to a back strain.

Locastro has provided the Yankees with more outfield depth all season, so it isn't ideal that he has to sit out. In 15 games on the year, he has one home run, two RBIs, and a .231 batting average.

Locastro has been on the move a lot over his six-year career, as he has already played for the Dodgers, Diamondbacks, and Yankees. In 224 career games amongst them, he has six home runs, 33 RBIs, and a .231 batting average. Once healthy, he will be aiming to improve upon those numbers. Here's to hoping his back injury isn't too severe and that he can return very shortly.
