Yankees Infielder Placed On Injured List

Josh Donaldson is set to miss more time, as the veteran infielder has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to shoulder inflammation. He had been on the COVID-19 list before this development.

Donaldson of course was just suspended over by MLB for "inappropriate comments" made toward Chicago White Sox star Tim Anderson. Yet, now the veteran will be forced to miss time regardless due to this shoulder trouble.

Besides the controversy surrounding Donaldson, his 2022 season has been rather quiet. In 37 games, he has five home runs, 15 RBIs, and a .238 batting average. Once healthy, he will be aiming to make a bigger impact for the Yankees.
